Welcome to David's Model Pages, a website dedicated to my interest in plastic scale modelling. Unless otherwise noted, the models featured here are my own.

First a confession, over the years, I have proven myself to be almost completely hopelesss at keeping these pages reliabily up-to-date. I am however much better at maintaining David's Model Pages on Facebook (I've deleted the forum here following a tidal wave of spam - so if you do want to get in touch, contact me via Facebook. The forum link (left) will also take you there).

For a brief period there I also contributed to Scale Aircraft Magazine...

Do you live in Brisbane and have an interest in scale modelling?

If you live in Brisbane and have an interest in attending regular scale modelling workshops let me know. -  the best way to get in touch is via my Facebook page (link above)

Introduction

I guess I have had an interest in aircraft and armoured fighting vehicles (AFVs) since, well, as long as I can remember and have been building plastic scale models on and off since I first assembled Revell's 1/72 Peashooter when I was 10 or 11. However, I've really only been building again in earnest (if you can call three or four finished models a year that) since we moved into our first home in 2000. There have been a number of moves since then, the most dramatic from Wellington, New Zealand, to Brisbane, Australia.
